Pre-Trade Verification Checklist

Verify Market Session: Ensure current time is within the pre-London window to map Asian high/low accurately.
Measure Range Width: Calculate the point distance between Asian High and Low. Ensure it meets minimum volatility thresholds.
Wait for Candle Close: Never enter mid-candle; wait for an M15 candle to conclusively close outside the range boundary.
Check Economic Calendar: Confirm no tier-1 news releases (FOMC, CPI, NFP) are scheduled within the next 60 minutes.
Execute Risk Parameters: Calculate lot size based on account equity and exact stop loss distance to the opposite range extreme.

Entry Execution Criteria

  1. Identify and map the high and low of the Asian consolidation session between 00:00 and 07:00 UTC.
  2. Wait for the M15 candle to print and close completely outside the Asian range high (for long) or range low (for short) within the London active window (07:00 to 11:00 UTC).
  3. Enter the market on the open of the subsequent M15 candle, or use a limit order on a micro-pullback to the range boundary.

Take-Profit & Target Exit

  • Take Profit 1 (TP1) is set at a fixed 1:1 Risk-to-Reward ratio where 50% of the position is closed to lock in risk-free status.
  • Take Profit 2 (TP2) is extended to 1:2 R:R or targeted at the next major structural liquidity level (daily pivot or previous session extreme).

Invalidation & Emergency Exit

  • If price breaks both the high and the low of the Asian range within the first hour of the London session (whipsaw/double-sweep), the setup is completely voided.
  • If the breakout candle exceeds 2.5x the average True Range (ATR) of the last 14 periods, the move is deemed exhausted and entry is skipped due to unfavorable risk-to-reward.
Stop-Loss Positioning

Opposite Asian Range boundary (Conservative) or Asian Range Midpoint 50% level (Aggressive/Wide Range).
